Technical event productionInside
the show.
Every cue. Every detail. One production. Sound, lighting, video and staging brought together by the people who design, install and operate them.
Explore the production
01PA / Audio
The d&b speaker stack to the left of the stage is part of the PA system supplied by Powerhouse, bringing music and speech into the complete production.
02Lighting
Red accents and white beams give the room its atmosphere. Powerhouse supplied the lighting as part of the complete private event production.
03Video
Screen content carries the event identity across the stage, connecting the displays with the central DJ booth.
04Stage & booth
The raised stage and DJ booth create a clear focal point, with the lighting and screen positions designed around it.
05Dancefloor
The black dancefloor completes the space and reflects the lighting. Powerhouse supplied every element shown in this installation.
The audience

We connect
every element.
Powerhouse delivers technical event production in London and across the UK for agencies, venues, corporate teams and private clients. We bring audio, lighting, video, staging and on-site crew together around your venue, audience and running order.
The work starts before the equipment arrives: understanding the space, planning the technical layout and coordinating the people who will deliver it. The result is one considered production, from installation and rehearsal to the final cue.

Every word heard.
Every moment felt.
Speech, music and live performance ask different things of a sound system. We plan audio around the room and audience, bringing together loudspeakers, microphones, playback and mixing with technicians to manage levels and transitions.
Change the atmosphere.

Lighting changes
how a space feels.
From a speaker’s face to the full dancefloor, lighting directs attention and shapes atmosphere. We combine room lighting, stage lighting and programmed effects to suit the event and the moments within it.
Video becomes
part of the setting.
Presentations, live pictures and branded content need the right canvas. We plan screen size, placement and playback around sightlines and the room, then integrate video with the wider production.
Adding a remote audience?
Behind the scenes.
Across every cue.
Staging, rigging and technical management provide the structure behind the show. Our crew prepare the installation, assemble the technical elements and work through the checks before the event begins.

Ready for
the next cue.
Once the doors open, our technical crew keep the production moving: mixing sound, calling lighting changes and switching video in step with the running order.
Work through the room.
Venue access, audience layout, equipment positions, power and the running order inform the technical approach.
Build. Connect. Check.
Coordinate installation and test the sound, lighting and video together before the audience arrives.
Stay with the show.
On-site technicians handle the agreed production, from presentations and performances to transitions and the final cue.

BAFTA at
The Langham.
The brief brought together the character of The Langham and BAFTA’s gold identity. Powerhouse developed CAD layouts and 3D visuals so the event and venue teams could review the design before installation.
Our delivery combined sound, lighting, stage design, a bespoke gold DJ booth and on-site technical crew. One project connecting the creative design with the practical work of running the event.

questions.
Can you manage the whole technical production?
Yes. We can coordinate sound, lighting, video, staging and technical crew as one production, or support a specific part of your event. Tell us what is already in place and where you need our team.
Can you work with our agency or venue?
Yes. We work with agencies, venues, event organisers and private clients. The technical approach is developed around the venue requirements, creative brief and other suppliers involved.
Do you provide design and visualisation?
We can bring CAD drawings and 3D event visualisation into the planning process, alongside set design and scenic build where the brief calls for them.
What do you need to prepare a proposal?
Start with the event date, venue, audience size, format and budget range. A running order, floor plan and visual references help us understand the production, access and installation requirements.
